30 years of DESIGN AND creation
Claude Montana started his career in London in the vivacity of Carnaby Street where he designed papier mâché jewellery and coloured stones which achieved great success. On his return to France, he collaborated with MacDouglas and discovered the work and the techniques in leather which will become the main fabric in several of his collections.
1976 - He presents his first collection at Angelina,
the famous Parisian tea room.
1979 - The company Claude Montana is set up
at 131, rue Saint Denis in Paris.
1981 - Presentation of the first Montana Men's Collection.

1985 - The award for the best womens collection is given him at
the Paris Opera house.
1986 - Launching of the first perfume for women "Parfum de peau"
and also a line of shoes for men.
1987 - Claude Montana obtained the award for the best European
creator in Munich.
1988 - Launching of the first perfume for men " Parfum d' homme".
1989 - He receives the prize "Christobal Balenciaga" for the best designer in
Madrid. He also launches a second perfume for women "Parfum d' elle".
1990 - Claude Montana creates his first collection Haute couture for Lanvin. Launching of a line of watches.
1991 - He is rewarded with his first golden thimble, the highest distinction from the world of Haute couture.
1992 - He receives a second golden thimble, a first in the history of the Haute couture.
Launching of a new line of sportswear for women "State of Claude Montana".
1994 - Launching of the third perfume for women 'Suggestion', a combination of three
fragrances: l'Eau d'or, l'Eau d'Argent, et l'Eau Cuivrée.
1996 - Launching of a leatherwear collection.
1997 - Lauching of the fourth perfume for women 'Just me'.
1998 - A new company business is created and replaces the Company Claude Montana, it is the start of Montana Création. Launching of a second line of womens ready-made clothes Montana blu.
2000 - Launching of the perfume Montana Blu.
2001 - Launching of a line of jewellery 'gold and silver'.
2002 - Lauching of the perfume for men Montana Green.
2006 - Launching of the ready to wear collection for men with the Group Sadev.
